This year marks a major milestone for our City of Venice. On July 1, 1926, the state law creating the Town of Venice went into effect. Doing some simple math, you can see that the city is turning 100. What does that mean? It means it is a convenient number where we can pause and take stock of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we want to go from here.

A Game For All Ages
When driving, walking or jogging around the Venice area you may ave found yourself at some point on P1nebrook Road and passing by a field filled with groups of people dressed all in white intently immersed in watching each other hitting bal Is with a long hand led mallet. For some of you it instantly registered that they were playing the game of croquet, while for others unfamiliar with the sport, it may have raised some questions about what they were doing.
